Debbie Castagna honored with prestigious Award

Leading dental consultant, author and speaker Debbie Castagna was honored at the 2011 meeting of the Academy of Dental Management Consultants (ADMC) with one of that group's highest honors, the Charles Kidd Spirit and Service Award. Kidd was the founder and inspiration behind the Academy, whose 110-plus members represent the best and brightest in the field of dental management consulting and speaking.

Castagna accepted the honor from current President Tim Twigg and Executive Director Susan DiGiambattista. Castagna was recognized for her work for the Academy during her tenure as President, which included a record new member drive, a re-vamp and completion of a new website, and various other marketing and administrative efforts the board recognized as "exceptional, and completely in congruence with the fundamental goals and intent of the Spirit Award."

Castagna thanked "all those other hard-working ADMC members who participated in all these projects, and supported and worked with me during my term as President. I could not have accomplished any of this without them."

Castagna and her business partner, Virginia Moore, are the Co-Founders of The Practice Source, a dental management consulting, speaking and training company, as well as Co-Founders and Faculty of The Consulting U, a training company for Dental Consultants and Practice Administrators. They are also the Co-Authors of the The Doctor as CEO and The Ultimate Staff training manuals.
